Mac Data Recovery Company Suggests Solutions to AirPod Problems in New Blog Post

Hard Drive Recovery Associates, a Mac data recovery company based in Irvine, California, has recently published a blog post that provides possible solutions to potential issues with using AirPods. These possible problems with the wireless earbuds include misplacing them, difficulty in pairing the earbuds with a particular device, uneven connection, continuous disconnection, and subpar audio quality.

First of all, the most common problem with these wireless earbuds is that it is easy to misplace them. It is possible for the AirPods to pop out of the ear unnoticed. And it is also possible that an earbud can get lost in the couch or bed because it is so small and it has no wires to give a hint as to its location. Fortunately, lost AirPods can easily be found using the Find My app on the iPhone or by going to iCloud.com. If all else fails, it may be necessary to get a replacement and those who have bought AppleCare+ coverage, they may be able to buy them at a much lower price.

Another common issue with AirPods is that there may be some difficulty in connecting with an iPhone, iPad or other Mac devices. When this happens, experts suggest putting the earbuds back in their charging case and allowing them to remain there for 10 seconds, and then using them again. If they still don’t work, it may be a good idea to ensure that they are sufficiently charged and that Bluetooth is turned on for the device that the user wants to connect to. If they still don’t work, the user may try unpairing the AirPods from the device, resetting the earbuds, and then reconnecting.

Still another common problem with AirPods is uneven connection. One side may work while the other side may not emit a sound or have a low volume. If this happens, it is also advisable to put them back in the charging case, wait for 10 seconds, and then try again. If that doesn’t work the user may need to go to the Bluetooth settings of the device and then allow it to “forget the device (the AirPods)” and then return them to their charging case and close it, waiting for about 30 seconds, and then opening the lid. Next, the user presses and holds on the setup button to allow the AirPods case to be discoverable as a Bluetooth device.

If the problem is continuous disconnection, the user may need to do a number of checks because the problem may be caused by a number of issues, such as sensors not working properly, or the microphones may not be functioning, or there may be some Bluetooth interference.

And with regards to subpar audio quality, this may be caused by a recent firmware update that has caused the active noise cancellation feature to negatively affect the sound quality. Apple may be issuing a fix soon.

Meanwhile, Jack Edwards, a spokesperson for Hard Drive Recovery Associates, says, “There may be quick fixes to problems you may encounter with your AirPod but having to deal with lost data in your laptop can be a huge challenge. Fortunately, we offer Mac data recovery services for those who have lost valuable data from their Apple device.”

Aside from being capable of providing Mac data recovery services, the company also offers data recovery solutions for the Windows PC, servers and RAIDs, and laptop computers and external drives. The company's blog publishes weekly. Loss of data is often a problem when a hard drive fails and this can really be a problem when the drives contain valuable business documents or important personal files, such as photographs and other similar files. Hard Drive Recovery Associates, because of their experience and their observation that they were able to cover a large percentage of lost data, offers a guarantee of no charge if not data is recovered.

Those who are looking for a data recovery services provider can check out the Hard Drive Recovery Associates website, or contact them on the telephone, or through email. They are open 24 hours a day, every day of the week, but may have a different schedule for holidays.
